Baptism window.

This window was installed in the South side of the church close to the font. It was installed in 1902 at the expense of Claud Corfield and his mother Sarah.

As the South wall was one of the weakest and already compromised it had to be demolished in the 1982 rebuild, the window was moved to the clerestory section which now puts it close to being above the font fulfilling its original purpose as a baptism window.

The original inscription ran "Window erected in 1902 by Sarah Weller Corfield as a thanksgiving offering that two of her sons were privileged to follow their father as rectors of this parish in the service of Christ. Also by C. E. L. Corfield M.A. in thankfulness for mercy and help during 16 years of his incumbency in which 4 churches and 11 church schools were maintained and nigh 3000 children were taught the word of God.
