Due to the size of the parish originally there were three churchwardens. 1) representing Codnor and Loscoe, 2) representing Heanor, Langley and Milnhey and finally 3) representing Shipley. We have kept the spellings as they were written so if looking for an ancestor please note that for earlier names to look for the name phonetically as well as by its modern spelling.
