Over the past 12 months there has been a steady
increase in the number of children attending Little Church. We
have up to 15 under-fives most regularly plus a number of older children
at times.
Each week the under-fives are
encouraged to take part in a focus activity and a shared time of stories,
songs and prayers. Our older children have an adult led talking
and learning time followed by appropriate activities. Our topics,
for all the children, have ranged from Christian and Jewish festivals,
to, using our senses to help us think about thanking and praising God,
to, learning about people in the Bible, such as, Abraham. On sunny
Sundays we try to use the small outdoor area for painting and drawing
activities as well as for praising God with lots of noise!
